Basic elements of logic and text comprehension. Reasoning on elementary mathematics topics.

Learning Outcomes
The goal of the course is to provide students with the basic logical knowledge needed to adequately follow the courses of the degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology and in Pharmacy
Prerequisites
This course is intended for students who demonstrated deficiencies in the logical reasoning entry test. However, any interested student is welcome to subscribe through the relevant DIR platform.
Teaching Methods
Classes are held in person and include the presentation and solution of exercises, also through the use of the Wooclap platform, as well as dedicated question-and-answer sessions. All course materials, together with additional exercises and quizzes, are published on the DIR platform.

Assessment Methods
Online quizzes. 6 questions with 5 answers. 1 point for a correct answer, 0 for no answer, -0.25 (-1/4) for a wrong answer. Minimum score required 3.
Detailed Syllabus
Translation of current language into mathematical formulas. Concept of necessary and sufficient conditions. Interpretation of various types of graphical representations and tables. Reasoning on elementary mathematics concepts.
Expected Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the exam, students are expected to have acquired the basic logical knowledge necessary to efficiently follow their university
