Provide the basic principles of ethics, bioethics and ethics of interest for the exercise of the profession.

Frontal lectures with slides and individual / group study on
topics of interest for students and for the pursuit of the profession to be presented orally at the end of the course.

The learning assessment will consist of two different moments:
- the oral presentation of the issue chosen for the study;
- written test (multiple choice tests) on the following issues: informed consent, professional secrecy, gender violence

Bioethics - The Code of Conduct Informed consent and mandatory health treatments The right to privacy Rehabilitation treatments and bioethics - Containment Early life bioethics (Law 194/78 - Law 40/2004) End of life bioethics (Ascertainment of death - Organ transplants - DAT - Palliative care - The treatment plan) Gender violence: this topic focuses on “Gender mainstreaming” and students will be invited to explore the subject in greater depth during the group presentations scheduled at the end of the course.

In order to achieve the knowledge and skills corresponding to the minimum level of sufficiency, the student is asked to demonstrate that:

- knowing how to reflect on the bioethical issues of greatest interest to the healthcare professional
(TRANSVERSAL SKILLS)
- be able to present their reflections on bioethical issues and discuss with peers.
