The lecture will be preceded by an introduction from the lecturer and then an open debate on a partoicular case-study will take place. The lecturer will take advantage of the discussion to bring to students further knowledge.

Written essay on a controversy or a decision-making process to be handed in

- Ethical considerations in preclinical research;
- Ethical considerations in clinical research;
- The benefit risk in all its different declinations;
- Drug Approval
- Drug access

At the end of the course the student will be able to make decisions regarding drugs, weighing uncertainties, context, benefit, risk and unmet needs.
