Learning Outcomes
BASIC EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
1. KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of the salient moments and circumstances in the history of Spanish cultural identity.
Knowledge of the relationships between the proposed filmic and narrative texts and their historical-cultural context.
2. SKILLS
Elaboration of one's own image of Spanish cultural history, starting from perdonsl reflection on the elements provided during the course.
Acquisition of the main textual analysis tools of a film and a novel.

3. TRANSVERSAL SKILLS
Clear and concise presentation skills, with an organic vision of the concepts of the course.

HIGHER LEVEL EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
1. SKILLS
Knowing how to analyze filmic or narrative texts, also in relation to their historical context.
2. TRANSVERSAL SKILLS
Ability to express one's own vision of the subject, with autonomy of judgment, in a reasoned and analytical way.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of Spanish at B2 level
Teaching Methods
Lectures, seminar on text analysis. Projection of slides with texts, diagrams, graphs and images.

Assessment Methods
Oral examination of about twenty minutes in Italian.
At final evaluation will contribute equally the student training on the following topics:
• History of Spanish Cultural Identity
• The cultural base of Spain's present reality
• Specificity of Hispanic culture.
To achieve top marks, the student has to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the topics covered in the course, great expressive mastery, mastery of textual analysis terminology, personal content processing skills.
An exam will be evaluated as sufficient if the student reveals some lack of preparation in the topics covered, expressive difficulties, not complete mastery of literary technical language and little autonomy of judgment.
Finally, the student's exam showing large gaps in preparation, poor expressive ability, minimal knowledge of analysis techniques and no independence of criteria will be considered insufficient.
Detailed Syllabus
Spanish texts and images of cultural identity and its evolution in history, with particular emphasis on contemporary Spain. During the course we will analyze the following books and movies:
