What causes and mechanisms lead to the Gender Wage Gap, Employment Discrimination, Legal Rights and Gender Equality within the family, both in cooperative or corporative settings? How do divorce, custody, and alimony laws influence economic outcomes for men, women and others? What is the impact of social welfare programs on gender equality, including maternity leave, childcare support, and social security? The course will structure cultural and societal grounds for answering these questions. They will choose the challenge they wish to understand, analyse, confront, and assess their possible action based on the provided references accordingly.
