This year, the seminar features various content: a series of lectures on the history of administrative law and the principle of legality, book presentations, and an important research study on the young Italian judges. Additionally, there will be work on texts by Galante Garrone dedicated to the subjects of justice, the Italian Constitution, and foundamental rights.

The seminar aims to provide a basic understanding of the history of administrative law and the principle of legality (its origins and transformations). Additionally, it seeks to promote knowledge of Galante Garrone's thought on humans rights, the Italian Constitution, and the administration of justice. Finally, it aims to strengthen the following skills: training students in text comprehension, scientific writing, argumentation, and the oral presentation of personal works.

Oral examination and paper

The seminar will first offer a series of lectures (12 hours) on the history of administrative law and the principle of legality, delivered by Prof. Bernardo Sordi (from P. Grossi's school, University of Florence). Prof. Sordi will also present his book "Pubblico e privato. Una genealogia storica". Additionally, there will be other book presentations: "Il diritto mite" by G. Zagrebelsky, "Ogni cosa al suo posto" by M. Luciani (University of Rome La Sapienza), "La legge della fiducia" T. Greco (University of Pisa), and "I non rappresentati" by V. Pazè (Università di Torino). Furthermore, an important sociological research study on the young Italian judiciary will be presented. Finally, the seminar will include personal readings, writing exercises, and oral presentations of texts by A. Galante Garrone.

In addition to acquiring the knowledge conveyed by the various lectures, the seminar aims to train students in text comprehension, writing, oral presentation of texts, and well-reasoned discussion.
