Students with disabilities, learning disabilities or special education needs, once they have contacted the University Staff, can refer to the tutor in charge of the course to define the examination modalities, concerning academic aspects.

The exam will consist of an oral test that will assess the ability to apply the knowledge acquired through the critical discussion of a research protocol by arguing design choices and related developments in terms of teaching. In addition, the student will have to demonstrate that he knows the essential aspects of a research protocol, focussed in the context of the critical area by analysing innovative ways of providing future educational project. The final assessment of the teaching will be expressed in thirtieths. The praise may be awarded, on the unanimous opinion of the Examination Committee, to those who have obtained a final vote of 30/30. To achieve a score of 30/30 and praise the student will then have to demonstrate that he has acquired an excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course.

- The research protocol: definition and key parts of the research protocol, the process of protocol approval by the ethics committee
- Data collection instruments: basic characteristics of a data collection instrument, the validation process of an instrument, analysis of the reliability of an instrument, the specificity and sensitivity of the instrument.

Knowledge and understanding
Students at the end of the course can:
- identify the fundamental parts of a research protocol
- identify the basic features of a data collection instrument

This knowledge is acquired during theoretical lectures and classroom practice and is assessed by oral examination.
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding.

At the end of the course, students can:
- write simple research protocol.
- collaborate in the conduct of a research study.

These skills are acquired during classroom and computer-based exercises and are assessed in oral examinations.
Making judgements

At the end of the course, students can assess which organisational, educational and care problems can be identified to develop a research or systematic review project. This skill is acquired during classroom and computer-based exercises.
