Course Contents
The course is focused on a comprehensive overview of the clinical utility of multi-omics in tumor classifications, prognostications, diagnostics, and the role of data integration in the search for novel biomarkers and therapeutic opportunities. Extensive analysis of the currently used classificators will be detailed.

To provide the students with elements of knowledge relating to the most important oncological pathologies with particular reference to the themes of the multiomics approach in the diagnosis and treatment and also according to currently available targeted agents.

Detailed Syllabus
The principles of personalised medicine in oncology will be presented,
including also the different therapeutic opportunities by tumor type and
different subtypes of the same tumors. The development of the most
used targeted agents will be discussed. The different “omic” techniques
will be explained.
Expected Learning Outcomes
The student is expected to be able to identify the best molecular approach
for the different tumor types and to understand the impact of the
personalised "omic" approach in cancer medicine.
