Acquire an understanding of the basic features of verbal and non-verbal dramatic expression; practice grammatical structures and phonetics of the foreign languge.
Improve bodily and verbal expression by integrating improvisazion, memorization and repetition in the workshop context.
Learn to evaluate one's own and the other group members' expressive and communicative effectiveness, both on a linguistic and dramatic level.
Develop skills of team-working and effective communicative strategies in view of the final public performance.
Collaborative learning; script memorization; problem-solving skills, also through improvisation.

The workshop is intended for students of foreign languages as well as for non-specialists, with at least a basic competence in French. No previous theatre experience is required or preferable. Maximum number of participants: 15.

Practical workshop; improvisation and self-learning; supervised and autonomous teamwork.

Introduction to theatre techniques (with Mario Sgotto): attendance is compulsory

Compulsory participation in the theatre workshop. Verification in itinere; public performance (final show); written report on the work done, to be handed in at the end of the course (evaluated by Laurence Audéoud and Mario Sgotto). The evaluation will be carried out on the basis of a grid that takes into account the final result as well as the route followed and the progress made.
Those who have included the workshop among the Choice Activities of the pds will be evaluated with a grade expressed in thirtieths. The entire course, from start to finish, will be taken into account in the assessment phase, based on the objectives to be achieved:
Understanding of the basic elements of theatrical expression, verbal and non-verbal;
Learning the grammatical structures and phonetics of the chosen foreign language.
Capability of bodily and verbal expression integrating improvisation, memorisation and repetition methodologies in context
Ability to judge the communicative and expressive effectiveness of one's own and others' theatrical and linguistic performance
Ability to relate to the group and realisation of effective communication strategies aimed at the final performance open to the public
Ability to work in and for the group; creative problem-solving skills, also through improvisation.
Honours will be awarded to the student/student who has particularly distinguished him/herself by fully achieving the set objectives.

The workshop is divided into three stages: 8 hours' introduction to theatre techniques (with Mario Sgotto); improvisation games and body warm-ups; rehearsal for final performance.

• Gain more confidence in oral production and interaction in French.
• Improve pronunciation. Combine verbalization, gestures, and expressiveness.
• Overcome shyness to express oneself publicly in another language.
• Enhance group spirit and develop a sense of responsibility towards a common project, culminating in the final performance, which represents the completion of the training journey.
