FRENCH LANGUAGE EXERCISES II

For non-attending students: continuation of the textbook used in the French Language Exercises I course: Françoise Bidaud, "La nouvelle grammaire du français pour italophones," Turin, Utet, 2008.

The objectives are those recommended at B2 Level in the Common European Framework.

Successful passing of the exam “Lingua francese 1”; B1 level from the Framework (Lingue straniere Moderne).
B1 level from the Framework (Lingue Culture Turismo).
A2 level from the Framework (Filologia moderna, antica e comparata)

Seminars with audio-visual aids.

The DIR service will provide detailed programs, instructions for the obligatory work, examples of written tests, and exercise sheets.
Students with disabilities or with Specific Learning Disorders (DSA) or Special Educational Needs (BES) may request specific services and tools dedicated to them by contacting the Career Development and Coordination Staff and Student Services and consulting the dedicated page on the University website: https://uniupo.it/it/servizi/servizi-studenti-disabili-e-dsa Students with disabilities, DSA, BES, once they have contacted the University Staff, may contact the teacher in charge of the course in relation to the declination of the examination methods, with regard to teaching aspects.

Separate written test and oral test. Two compulsory written tests. First written test: grammar test (/30). It is necessary to pass the grammar test with a minimum mark of 18/30 to pass the second written test (dictation / 10; comprehension-production / 20). You must obtain the following mark in the second written paper: minimum mark of 5/10 to pass the dictation paper; minimum mark of 13/20 to pass the comprehension-production paper. The overall mark in the written test corresponds to the average of the two written tests and it is necessary to obtain at least 18/30 to pass the oral test. The oral test consists of the presentation of the compulsory work monitored during the course. Students will be given the possibility of an exemption from the oral test, with the presentation of the compulsory work as part of the last lessons of the course, before the beginning of the summer session. In this case, the complete dossier (see the precise details uploaded on the course DIR) must be handed in to the teacher by May 2025. Those who do not hand in their research in time will not be allowed to take part in the early roll-call. Additional points awarded at the end of the oral examination may be a maximum of 3. One point is awarded for expository fluency, one point for grammatical correctness, one point for phonological correctness, taking into account the objectives set (CEFR level B2).
