Learning Outcomes
The goals of the course are to introduce students to the key topics relating to medicinal chemistry of peptides and peptidomimetics and at the same time present and discuss general strategies for their drug design. At the end of the course, the student will have gained the essential stock of knowledge with regard to the drug design and the issues relating to their development.
Prerequisites
organic chemistry
Teaching Methods
The course consists of lectures with slides show.
If the case of a new COVID19 emergency, the lessons will be carried out by recording and uploading them on Youtube with links in the course on DIR. Upon request, question time will be organized on Google meet.
Additional Information
ENG: Students with physical disabilities, Learning Disabilities or Special Education Needs can request specific services and tools via the Staff Sviluppo e Coordinamento Carriere e Servizi alle Studentesse e agli Studenti, consulting the University webpage: https://www.uniupo.it/en/services/services-students-physical-or-learning-disabilities
Students with disabilities, learning disabilities or special education needs, once they have contacted the University Staff, can refer to the tutor in charge of the course to define the examination modalities, concerning academic aspects.
Assessment Methods
The learning assessment consists of a written examination. The questions cover all the topics which have been discussed during the lessons.
