Approach, observation, evaluation and definition of the rehabilitation path of the geriatric patient:
• Definition of the elderly patient, physiological aging and the concept of norm and normality, tools for assessing self-sufficiency
• Effects of the rehabilitation activities of clinical pictures of old age,
• Know the morbidity conditions of the elderly who need rehabilitation:
Stroke, Parkinson's disease, Fractures (femur, upper limb ..), Chronic osteo-articular pain, Ischemic heart disease, COPD, Cognitive impairment, Immobility
• Definition of frail elderly: manipulating, communicating, eating, walking and balance disorder, sensory deficits

The student must be able to know the main areas of rehabilitation intervention in the oncology field, the outcomes related to the surgical aspect of physiotherapy.
In the geriatric field, the student must know the main disabling diseases that require rehabilitation and identify suitable rehabilitation paths.
