Learning Outcomes
Objectives of the course are:
- promote knowledge of the principles underlying the design and operation of the various information processing systems in the health sector;
- to know the fundamentals of the prevention and safety system in the workplace;
- understand laws and regulations relating to the protection of health in the workplace;
- know the procedures to be implemented in the event of a biological risk injury;
- recognize and be able to describe pathologies related to work activity.
- understand the typical language of business economics;
- know the nature and objectives of institutions and companies;
- break down a company into its fundamental components, understand its functioning and management and organizational needs;
- apply the logic of accounting records and the method of collecting and classifying values;
- carry out simple analyzes of the economy and soundness of a company by observing the items in the financial statements;
- use a technical language that allows him to communicate the acquired knowledge clearly and effectively.
- provide up-to-date knowledge on the main areas of medico-legal interest for the pursuit of the profession
- foster the ability to use an autonomous reflection on medico-legal issues
- critically understand the knowledge acquired within the individual modules of the integrated course

Expected Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- read the main information of a financial statement and to critically evaluate and apply the knowledge learned in the context of their profession.
- know the general principles of occupational medicine useful for carrying out the profession, including knowledge and correct management of any biological risk injuries and the prevention and early recognition of pathologies related to work.
- know how to apply the fundamental principles of forensic medicine, with particular attention to what is fundamental in the healthcare professional / patient relationship (informed consent, patient self-determination, TSO, professional and official secrecy);
- know the crimes of interest to the health professional in order to be able to draw up the report (report or report) for the Judicial Authority;
- know and be able to describe injuries of legal medical interest;
- know the issues of interest to the profession relating to unaccompanied foreign minors
- know how to apply the principles of professional responsibility
- know the basic notions related to health information systems, learned during lessons and personal study
- understand the operating methods of simple applications in an appropriate manner within their professionalism.
