The course aims to offer students the opportunity to know the main themes and theoretical models of social psychology and community psychology, providing students with the conceptual and methodological tools that can develop and sustain reading skills of psychosocial processes.

Acquired knowledge in the basic courses offered at 1st year, referred to Psychology and Sociology.

Frontal lessons with the help of slides; group work; comparison on videos and practical experiences.

The learning outcomes will be assessed through an oral examination to establish that the acquisition of knowledge and the ability to connect them to a reflection on future professional practice.

- Ability to orient themselves among the basic theoretical models of social psychology and community psychology.
- Ability to generalize reading and psychosocial perspective in different situations and contexts for an analysis of the phenomena that can understand the complexity and coping better, through a constant pursuit for the links between individual, social and group factors .
- Development of critical skills as an opening to a process of meta-reflection and put into play their own stereotypes, prejudices and mindsets activated in the reading of the phenomena and psychosocial issues
