The course is divided into two parts: a first part concerning basic statistical concepts and the regressive model; a second part focused on basic concepts and methods for the evaluation of public policies (EPP).

The course aims to provide basic methods and tools for a quantitative evaluation of a public policy.

Basic knowledge of statistics and economic policy.

Lezioni di teoria e analisi di casi studio.

Written exam with closed and open questions.

Part one:
- Elements of statistics, the conditional average, sampling
- The simple and multivariate regressive model, the estimation and verification of the model
Second part:
- Definition of effect
- Rubin's Model
- The experimental method
- The non-experimental method
- The use of regressive models

The student will have to demonstrate knowledge of the basic methodological tools used in EPP.
