Course Contents

The Program is ideally divided into three parts: a first part of descriptive statistics to describe the observed characters; a second part inherent in the methods for analyzing the relationships between several characters; a third part concerning statistical inference, parameter estimation and hypothesis testing.

Written exam with computational and theoretical exercises.

3) median, percentiles and cumulative distributions;
4) variance and standard deviation;
5) the standardization of a variable and its uses;
6) the Gaussian normal distribution.

13) the TCL and the sample distributions;
14) confidence intervals;
