Systematic Pathological Anatomy of the kidney concerning neoplastic, functional diseases of the glomerulus, tubulo-interstitial and vascular and transplantation diseases.

Prepare the student for the knowledge of the main anatomical and histo-pathological pictures of the treated pathologies, with particular reference to the pathophysiological mechanisms as necessary tools for clinical practice

Oral interview based on 4 question themes drawn from the 670 filed in DIR. Students have at their disposal a series of slips, in each of which 4 question themes are printed: before the exam they choose one, which will constitute the topics of the exam

Kidney histology and physiology
Primary and secondary glomerulonephritis (acute, Berger's disease, nephrotic syndrome, rapidly progressive syndrome)
Glomerulonephritis in the course of systemic diseases (diabetes, Lupus, plasma cell dyscrasias)
Pathologies of the tubule and interstitium
Vascular pathology

Students are required to know how to use the main knowledge acquired in the Pathological Anatomy course in clinical contest and in the approach to the patient. The exam is essentially aimed at verifying whether this attitude, mental as well as practical, has been acquired
