Learning Outcomes
The course aims to teach the medical student of the
6th year the clinical significance of the knowledge learned in the AP course
systematics of the 4th year, in particular the translational implications of the
discipline in prognostic terms predictive of the main pathologies
tumoral and non-cancerous
Prerequisites
Knowledge of basic pathological anatomy, applied molecular biology, oncology and surgery as well as the main clinical aspects
of the treated non-neoplastic pathologies

Study of the bibliographic references administered from time to time
Assessment Methods
Oral exam in which the candidate's abilities
to correctly interpret a pathological report in terms of
clinical relapse are assessed
Detailed Syllabus
Neoplastic diseases of:
Breast, colon, central nervous system, lung, melanoma, GIST,
ovary, endometrium, thyroid, dealt with clinically and relapse
in terms of prognosis and indications in therapeutic choices. Pathologies
non-neoplastic of: kidney transplant, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in
terms of clinical indications for treatment.
Expected Learning Outcomes
The student must be able to understand and interpret
correctly a pathological report of various pathologies
neoplastic and functional in which the report itself provides information
useful for the clinical management of the patient
