Course Contents
The course aims to focus on the different imaging methods with i
related protectionist aspects for both ionizing and non-ionizing radiation
ionizing. It pursues the objective of illustrating the conceptualities of the process
diagnostic.
Below will be given the basic elements of semantics and
organ semeiotics and specific pathology

Learning Outcomes
To provide students with the main notions of radiobiology, radiation protection,
nuclear medicine.
Illustrate the correlation between the clinical picture and the correct use of diagnostic methods.

Students must have adequate training in the fields
anatomy, physics, physiology.

Lectures and theoretical and practical exercises in the ward

The teacher gives the availability, in the reception of the students, to solve the
individual critical issues with targeted tutoring.
Assessment Methods
Verification with multiple choice tests and subsequent oral exam on
topics covered and on diagnostic procedures
Detailed Syllabus
Nuclear medicine, and hybrid imaging of the central nervous system, il
neck, spine, chest, heart, mediastinum, breast, abdomen,
the urinary system, the female genital system, the vascular system,
the musculoskeletal system, osteoporosis.
Expected Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course the student must have learned the different ones
methods of diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine in relation
to the different clinical pictures and must be able to interpret the results
appropriately.
