Learning Outcomes
The teaching aims to lead students to have several
knowledge of functional biology through which to
reach an adequate understanding of medical
problems
Prerequisites
Knowledge acquired from high school teachings
Teaching Methods
The course is delivered through lectures conducted by the teacher with the use of supporting materials
(MS-Power Point slides, bibliographic materials, videos). The material presented in class will be made available on the DIR teaching platform.
Students are asked to proceed systematically with self-study and actively participate in the proposed discussions
Additional Information
Inside the single teaching courses, at the end of the course an exam simulator will be shown. It will also
uploaded as an individual exercise on the DIR
platform.

Students with physical disabilities, Learning Disabilities or Special Education Needs can request
specific services and tools via the Staff Sviluppo e Coordinamento Carriere e Servizi alle Studentesse

e agli Studenti, consulting the University webpage: https://www.uniupo.it/en/services/services-
students-physical-or-learning-disabilities

Students with disabilities, learning disabilities or special education needs, once they have contacted
the University Staff, can refer to the tutor in charge of the course to define the examination
modalities, concerning academic aspects.
Assessment Methods
The examination consists of a written test with multiple-choice questions (five options, one right).
The exam of the teaching course is made up of a set of individual quiz related to each specific
teaching, proposed to students simultaneously on
the same exact date. From single evaluation of the several quizzes, following collective discussion between teachers of specific teaching course, a final vote will be proposed.
For specific details on the organization and
evaluation of individual exam quizzes, please refer to syllabus of specific teaching.
