Anatomy of the female genital system; female sexuality; abnormal position of the uterus and genital prolapse; urinary incontinence; genital fistulas; birth trauma; postpartum incontinence.

Learning Outcomes
The module aims to allow the learning of the aspects of gynecology related to sexuality and reproduction, with particular regard to their dysfunctions. The course also aims to provide the essential notions on aspects of urogynecology.
The aspects of physiotherapy will then be addressed, in particular as regards the aspects connected to urinary incontinence and postpartum problems.
the course therefore aims to put the student in a position to analyze a single specific case and to argue about its resolution through an adequate diagnostic therapeutic path including anatomical knowledge and analysis of the results of appropriate tests and diagnostic examinations aimed at treatment and care of the most suitable patient
Prerequisites
The student should know normal human anatomy.

Assessment Methods
The exam consists of a written test with multiple choice questions on the topics covered during the course. Students who pass the written test must pass an oral test on the same topics, with particular regard to any topics not passed in the written test.
The student must demonstrate that he has assimilated the basic notions of urogynecology and the related physiotherapy aspects
