Aim of this course is to promote knowledge and understanding of the essential aspects (etiopathogenesis, clinical picture, differential diagnosis and treatment of selected disease of the central and peripheral nervous system. Particularly, indications to rehabilitation as a treatment will be dealt with

The student has to possess basic knowledge in the field of anatomy, physiology and biochemistry of the nervous system.

The student must show adequate knowledge and understanting (and ability to apply them) of the essential aspects of the disease dealt with in the course, and their implications in physical medicine/ rehabilitation.
