At the end of the course, the student must know the histology and anatomy of bone tissues, know the concepts of fibrointegration, osteofibrointegration and osseointegration, as well as know the various types of osseointegrated implants and how to insert them. How to carry out proper pre-implant hygiene during the period of insertion of the implants and their maintenance in situ. Keep in mind the concept of peri-implantitis

The student must be able to collect an anamnesis and compile a medical record, perform an objective dental-implant examination, recognize the main and most frequent diseases of the implants.
