The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge and understanding of the characteristics of the microorganisms most frequently implicated in infections and responsible for human pathologies, so that the student may be able to apply the knowledge and understanding to deal independently with the the most correct diagnostic procedure to identify the pathogen responsible for the infection.
Objectives are also to form in the student an autonomy of judgment, to develop communication skills and learning ability.

At the end of the course, students will have to take an exam on the topics covered during the lessons. The learning test takes place simultaneously for the three modules of the integrated course
