Learning Outcomes
The lessons want to elucidate the main changes which occur through the human body when we experiment anomalous conditions. In particular we will refer to physical exercise, deep water swimming, high altitude mountain and spaceflight in microgravity conditions
Prerequisites
It is requested a good knowledge of the normal physiological parameters. Further it must be well known the function of different organs and, in detail, a good knowledge of cardiovascular and respiratory function, renal system, nervous system and muscular-skeletal set up

Oral exam with a power point presentation on a favourite topic
Detailed Syllabus
Physical activity: physiological modifications in aerobic and anaerobic performances
Hyperbarism: gas changes, hemodynamic alterations in deep water
High altitude: hypossic conditions, cardiovascular and respiratory changes
Nervous system and cognitive functions
Spaceflight: cardiovascular changes, liquid distribution, vestibular control, muscular and skeletal deterioration
Expected Learning Outcomes
Comparison between normal and altered conditions. Environment adaptation countermeasures and adequacy of nutrition
