Course Contents
Lessons include the use of ICT tools, Project Management systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
In the first part of each lesson, references and guidelines will be offered to be able to effectively manage ICT tools, Project Management systems, and ERP systems. The subsequent implementation of operational models will allow the development of personal and interpersonal skills to improve individual performance in organizations.

Learning Outcomes
After verifying organizational aspects of management systems and the characteristics of information systems supporting company activities, the course aims to provide the tools for the profitable use of ICT tools to support management and professional, applications for Project Management, and ERP systems. The lessons will take place mainly in the PC room and will see the learners directly involved in the use ICT tools, applications for Project Management, and ERP systems.
1. Knowledge and understanding.
At the end of the course, students will be able to: determine the purposes of a management system; identify the characteristics of the information systems supporting company activities; appreciate the business benefits found in the use of an Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP); know the specifics of individual modules of ERP systems; know the functions of ERP systems for the management of administrative and managerial activities, for management control, for the Customer Relationship Management and Supply Chain Management, for the management of professional studios activities; recognize the impact of technologies on business management oriented towards Project Management and creating value for the customer; evaluate the opportunities offered by technologies in corporate Project Management and performance evaluation; understand the potential of digital technologies for business and professional activities.
2. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding.
The assimilated knowledge will be essential to actually use ERP systems and applications to support Project Management for carrying out typical management activities and in the professional field. This will also facilitate the acquisition of the ability to: manage corporate information according to a interfunctional approach; identify the best methods of data processing; optimize information flows; analyze the results of processing activities in a systemic way; plan activities optimization initiatives consistent with the information obtained; structure performance monitoring systems based on the definition of suitable indicators; take advantage of digital technologies to increase the company's competitiveness.
3. Making judgments.
The course will allow students to: express autonomous and informed judgments on the efficiency and effectiveness conditions of company information systems; guide management towards an effective and efficient use of corporate information assets to improve performance. The use of ERP systems and applications for Project Management to support the performance of typical managerial and professional activities will facilitate the development of critical analysis skills regarding the best ways to achieve company objectives.
4. Communication skills.
Students will acquire the technical language and skills necessary to promote and disseminate the use of integrated information systems and applications for Project Management within operating realities. Learners will develop communication skills by carrying out projects and identifying solutions to business cases, captured by the daily work of management, in teams.
5. Learning ability.
Once the methodological bases and an adequate theoretical background have been acquired, the students will be able to conveniently develop continuous self-learning. Furthermore, the teaching method will favor the critical analysis of the peculiarities that characterize corporate information flows and the use of the most suitable interpretative tools for understanding and managing different corporate realities and professional studios.
Prerequisites
The course can be profitably followed after acquiring the knowledge and skills of Business Administration.
Teaching Methods
The planned ongoing activities are broken down as follows:
1) Lectures and exercises in the PC room: through the use of ICT tool, concrete problems of companies in the management of administrative and managerial activities, relations with customers and suppliers, and the activities of professional studios are addressed and resolved. They allow to become familiar with ICT tools and to develop skills that are particularly appreciated in the world of work;
2) Testimonials from company managers: an unmissable opportunity to meet with entrepreneurs, professionals and managers, to match the skills and abilities acquired with the experience of operational realities and to inspire new paths.
1. Acquisition of knowledge: the introductions to the lessons (in traditional and participatory mode) will provide the theoretical basis (for the achievement of the necessary skills) to immediately develop skills and activities with ICT tool, ERP systems, and applications for the Project Management. 2. Acquisition of the ability to apply knowledge: the development of projects and cases concretely present in business and professional realities will encourage teamwork and will be an opportunity for a comparison on the best resolution methods. 3. The acquisition of independent judgment will be favored by the discussion of concrete cases in the field of technologies to support company activities and by experimenting with the solutions identified through the use of the systems. 4. Acquisition of communication skills: the technical language used in the course will make it possible to acquire the conditions for developing specific communication skills; the technical background will be tested in the cases treated to enhance the skills necessary to effectively and efficiently manage and exploit the information assets. 5. Acquisition of learning skills: the methodological rigor and the theoretical heritage acquired will allow to conveniently develop continuous self-learning and the critical analysis of the most suitable tools for managing data production and processing information flows so as to seize the best opportunities offered by ICT.

Assessment Methods
Students will demonstrate acquired knowledge and skills in a one-hour exam, structured as follows:
- Test 1: 12 multiple choice questions on all chapters of the Textbook
and
- Test 2 (if Test 1 has a positive result): Students model a human resources process with Bizagi and/or carry out a project with Project Libre
- Final interview with the teacher for a comment on the project completed
