Course Contents
The course is focused on the study of issues related to sports regulations with reference to European Union and National legislation as well as sports federations, taking into account the most recent institutional reforms.

Learning Outcomes
The course aims to provide an overview of the most relevant aspects of sports law, highlighting its characteristics as a true micro-system of the general legal system. Particular emphasis will be placed on the legal structure of the sports system, the principles established in international and European, civil, criminal and administrative law, the various liability profiles arising from professional sporting activities, and sport justice.
Prerequisites
It is necessary that the student has already successfully passed the Constitutional Law and Administrative Law exams.
Teaching Methods
Teaching will be based on lectures, accompanied by analysis and discussion of case studies.

Assessment Methods
The exam will be held in the traditional form of an oral examination, lasting about 15 minutes, consisting of a number of questions related to the topics of the course's program. The way in which the student articulates the answer, as well as the mastery of the concepts and the level of depth of the topic, will allow Professor to assess the achievement, or not, of the course objectives. Different modes may be provided for attending students.
Detailed Syllabus
The course will cover the following topics; 1. sports law in general; 2. juridical principles of sport law; the sources of the sports legal system, both domestic and EU and international; 3. the subjects with powers in the field of sports law; 4. sports contracts; 5. liability regimes; 6. the system of audiovisual rights; 7. the management of sports facilities; 8. sports justice; 9. doping; 10. sport as integration's instrument.
Expected Learning Outcomes
To attain the knowledge and skills corresponding to the minimum sufficiency level, students will be asked to demonstrate that they have mastered the theory behind sports law, as well as the general concepts of the topics covered in the course lectures, and that they have acquired the theoretical-practical tools to better interpret the complexity of the subject.
