Learning Outcomes
Become familiar with the mathematical tools to create and use models of economic situations.
Prerequisites
Set theory, elementary logic, numbers, operations and ordering, percentages, functions, injective, surjective and bijective functions, composition of functions, Cartesian coordinates, equations and inequalities.
Teaching Methods

Assessment Methods
Written examination.
Detailed Syllabus
Common to the Management and Economics paths: algebraic functions, transcendental functions, differential calculus in one variable, integral calculus.
Economics track only: linear algebra, differential calculus and optimization in several variables, elements of financial mathematics.
Expected Learning Outcomes
Ability to interpret and manipulate mathematical tools in economic contexts.
