Learning Outcomes
The course aims at providing tools:
- comprehend how to use the key elements of organization design to create effective organizations;
- to recognize the influence of culture on members' bahaviour.

Teaching Methods
Knowledge and understanding: traditional lessons and self-study based on teaching materials.

Applying knowledge and understanding: examples and case studies will be analysed during the lessons.

Making judgments: students will be induced to judge strengths and weaknesses about different organisational models, organisational theories and about current organisation of Italian healthcare system.

Communication skills: the meaning of the terms used by professionals of local healthcare authority and healthcare companies will be explained.

Learning skills: every topic will be discussed beginning from the illustration of the problem and then analyzing the given solution.

Assessment Methods
A written exam lasting 20 minutes. The acquisition of knowledge will be assessed through a closed-ended question, which will be evaluated up to 1 point, and an open-ended question, which will be evaluated up to 4 points. The ability to apply knowledge, the ability to communicate with appropriate technical language, independent judgment and learning ability will be ascertained through the analysis of the answer to the open question. Group work is also planned, which will allow students to obtain an additional score. The points obtained in this module will be added to the points obtained in the other modules to define the overall mark of the integrated teaching. The score obtained will contribute to the overall grade of the Hygiene and Public Health exam for a maximum of 5 points.

Expected Learning Outcomes
1. Applying knowledge and understanding. The knowledge acquired during the course will allow the student to use the organizational skills and competences to be applied in the health care. In particular, the student must acquire the business language of the company disciplines and be able to formulate the organizational analysis of the company processes. 2. Making judgments. The course will allow the student to develop an autonomy of judgment and will put the student in the conditions to express considerations regarding the organization and human resource management 3. Learning skills. The study of the discipline will allow the student to understand the dynamics of the company framing the analysis of the single business unity in a coordinated vision of the business facts and the economic environment in which the company carries out its activity
