Introduction and analysis of advanced methods of assestement and management of the critical patient in the medical area;
Analysis of the context in the specialised medical area with reference to the specialities related to the average complexity of care;
Definition of critical case management in the specialist medical area;
Definition of falls risk and the new assessment methods for risk reduction and regulatory references;
Concepts of advanced cardiovascular monitoring in the medical patient;
Respiratory failure and the monitoring of the patient with co-morbidity in the medical specialty area;
Definition of the use of vascular accesses with reference to the specificities of the device related to the clinical condition;
In-hospital and out-of-hospital transport of the patient with medical co-morbidities;
Organ and tissue donation on patient exitus and current regulations;

Learning Outcomes
Her will be able to analyse plan and manage the medium-intensity care patient in the specialised medium care area, taking into account clinical, managerial and logistical criticalities.
Prerequisites
The student must be familiar with the indispensable notions of anatomy, physiology, general pathology, and must possess knowledge of basic nursing care planning.
Teaching Methods
Lectures supported by MS.Power point presentations and reference to popular science websites.
Laboratory activities in groups with frontal exposition carried out within the teaching module.
