The study aims at providing knowledge of the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying the main pathologies with a special focus on blood an endocrine disorders which are particularly relevant in the context of laboratory medicine
The content of the lessons favors the relationship between the physiology and laboratory methods aimed at revealing pathological conditions.

To follow the teaching successfully, the student must have the essential knowledge of anatomy, chemistry, biochemistry and physiology.
