Course Contents
the comparative marketing law course deals with the comparison of legal models applicable to marketing, with a focus on new technologies.
Reference Texts

Learning Outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the necessary
knowledge to understand the regulation of marketing activities in the digital world.
Prerequisites
Non background knowldge is required.
Teaching Methods
Frontal lectures in which the entire program will be covered. Frontal teaching is inclusive of
exercises and simulations that provide for the active participation of students in the
process of learning the subject, through the stimulation of the development of a critical and
autonomous spirit. Attendance is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended from the
beginning of the course because it significantly facilitates learning the program.

The law of digital platforms: legislative sources; reputational damage on the Internet and the right to be forgotten; the regulation of data collection and use; comparison with U.S. regulation. .
Expected Learning Outcomes
1. Knowledge and understanding skills: teaching is aimed at
familiarize students with the limitations and possibilities of marketing in the digital world. 2. Ability to apply knowledge
and understanding: teaching is aimed at enabling students to acquire the
the ability to apply the acquired knowledge to be able to move correctly in the digital world. 3. Autonomy of judgment: students will
will be able to apply the acquired knowledge, both on the
conceptual and operational levels, in marketing activities through on digital platforms. 4.
Communication skills: teaching is also aimed at the acquisition of the
technical language used in an international legal environment. 5.
Learning skills: male and female students will learn about the
main information and bibliographic sources on data protection and marketing on digital platforms.

If students will engaged themselves in a serious study of these subjects, they could achieve sufficiency, if not even more satisfactory results.
