The course aims to examine the role of labour law in the management of emergencies and disasters, to understand and examine, from this specific point of view, the interrelationships between such events and the economic and social fabric.

regulatory system resulting from the interweaving of the legal and contractual relevant sources. The course also aims to initiate students in the analysis of legal cases in order to develop their argumentative skills in the perspective of the application of the law, required by the professional world.

The course is organised in lectures. Attendance is also essential in order to acquire, through classroom activity, a greater mastery of the subject, of the legal vocabulary and of the technique of understanding the regulatory texts that are analysed from time to time

Comprehensive written examination for the three modules that make up the course

The course will cover labour law institutes useful for managing emergencies and disasters. In particular, the course will deal with: i) natural disasters and the redundancy fund; ii) epidemiological emergencies and compulsory vaccination, INAIL insurance protection and income support measures related to the closure of business activities; iii) the 'preventive' function of agile work; iv) natural disasters epidemiological emergencies and dismissals: the dismissal block.

At the end of the course, students will acquire: i) knowledge and ability to understand the legal framework currently in force in relation to the institutes dealt with in lectures; ii) ability to apply the knowledge acquired to concrete cases; iii) communication skills in the correct use of the technical legal language of labour law.
