Course Contents
The plant biochemistry module presents some investigation methods normally used and the use of enzymes for the enhancement of plant biomass. Metabolic processes involved in plant responses to stresses are also explored.
Reference Texts
No textbooks are available. Scientific papers, whose references will be provided during the lessons, and the slides will represent the teaching materials.
Learning Outcomes
Acquire the ability to support a science-based discussion of issues related to plant biomass utilization and biochemical responses to stress.

Basic knowledge in biochemistry and Photosynthesis

Detailed Syllabus
Plant Biochemistry: Enzymatic vaporization of plant biomasses and plant protein content. Production of high value-added molecules Metabolic processes to abiotic and biotic stresses responses. Methods in plant biochemistry, multi-omics approaches to study plant metabolic responses.
Expected Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to learn about biochemical mechanisms related to plant biomass conversion and stress responses.
