The course examines the regulations set forth by the Code of Intellectual Property (and its subsequent amendments) through the discussion of various legal cases in class.

The course aims to provide students with fundamental elements of intellectual property law, including through the discussion of various legal cases in class.

Passing the exams in Private Law and Commercial Law.

Lectures in which students are invited to participate actively (attendance is therefore strongly recommended). For each major topic covered, the instructor will provide suggestions and make recent materials available on the DIR platform for further study and class discussion. Participation in the analysis and discussion of these materials is an integral part of the evaluation process.

Only students who present a PowerPoint presentation during class will be eligible to take the written exam: a 15-question test; each correct answer will be awarded 2 points.For all other students, the exam is oral and consists of 3 questions covering the topics indicated in the course.

At the end of the course, students must demonstrate that they have acquired, in addition to the knowledge of the institutions and appropriate technical language, the ability to exercise independent judgment and to follow regulatory developments in this field by combining classical themes with the most modern developments.
