Learning Outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the knowledge and tools needed to understand how to use the key elements of organizational design to create effective and well-structured organizations amd to recognize and assess the influence of organizational culture on individual and group behavior.

Teaching Methods
Traditional lectures, including interactive and participatory sessions, will be combined with case study analysis.
Additional Information
1. Applying knowledge and understanding. The knowledge acquired during the course will allow the student to use the organizational skills and competences to be applied in the health care. In particular, the student must acquire the business language of the company disciplines and be able to formulate the organizational analysis of the company processes. 2. Making judgments. The course will allow the student to develop an autonomy of judgment and will put the student in the conditions to express considerations regarding the organization and human resource management 3. Learning skills. The study of the discipline will allow the student to understand the dynamics of the company framing the analysis of the single business unity in a coordinated vision of the business facts and the economic environment in which the company carries out its activity
Assessment Methods
Multiple choice quizzes on the program. The students will have to answer multiple choice questions (4 options) single answer (one correct answer). Scores are awarded with 1 point for each correct answer, -0.25 points for each incorrect answer and 0 points for no answer.

Expected Learning Outcomes
Applying Knowledge and Understanding
The knowledge acquired during the course will enable students to apply managerial and organizational competencies within the healthcare context. In particular, students will be able to use the terminology of organization and management studies appropriately, analyze organizational structures, processes, and dynamics, and understand the characteristics of the organizational and institutional environment in which healthcare organizations operate.

Making Judgments
The course will foster students’ ability to formulate independent and well-grounded judgments regarding key organizational and managerial choices. Students will be able to critically analyze issues related to organizational design, people management, and behavioral dynamics, including in situations characterized by complexity and uncertainty.

Learning Skills
The course will enable students to understand the main organizational and behavioral dynamics by placing the analysis of different organizational units within a systemic and integrated perspective of organizational management. Students will also be able to relate organizational phenomena to the broader economic, institutional, and healthcare context in which organizations operate.
