Learning Outcomes
The module aims to prepare students for the most important endocrine-metabolic diseases commonly found in clinical practice. There will be provided some basic etiological, diagnostic and therapeutic notions of these pathologies, emphasizing the role of the nurse for each one.
Prerequisites
Students must know the indispensable notions of Anatomy, Physiology and General Pathology.

Expected Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to: acquire the knowledge to identify and describe the signs and symptoms of endocrinological diseases (Knowledge and comprehension skills).
