The course consists of four modules: (i) Computer Science; (ii) Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Practice (EBP); (iii) Nursing Research Methodology and Evidence-Based Nursing (EBN); and (iv) Health Statistics.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

Assessment Methods
The assessment consists of a 90-minute written examination delivered through the DIR Examination system.The examination is based on the summary of a scientific article, translated into Italian and accompanied by tables. It includes 38 closed-ended questions, distributed as follows:Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Practice (EBP): 7 questions;Nursing Research Methodology and Evidence-Based Nursing (EBN): 12 questions;Health Statistics: 7 questions;Informatics: 12 questions.Question formats may include:multiple-response questions (more than one answer may be correct);true/false questions;completion questions;matching questions.To pass the examination, students must answer at least 60% of the questions correctly.No penalty is applied for incorrect or unanswered questions, and no oral examination will be held.To obtain the highest grade (30/30 cum laude), students must demonstrate an excellent knowledge of all the topics covered in the course.
