The module's contents will introduce the basic concepts of cultural anthropology, general psychology, and the caregiving relationship. The focus will be on nursing.

1) To introduce students to a critical understanding of some basic concepts of cultural anthropology and, more specifically, medical anthropology. To develop the ability to interpret and critically situate certain aspects of anthropological culture. To be able to critically communicate the acquired knowledge using appropriate terminology. 2) Knowledge of the fundamentals of general psychology and acquisition of psychological skills useful in managing relationships with patients, teamwork, and stress management in healthcare professions. 3) By the end of the course, students should be aware of the relational nature of the nursing profession and specifically of the significance of: - The self in the care relationship - The importance of professional identity in promoting a culture of relationships and the professional values ​​that underpin every caregiving act. They should also apply the ethical and deontological principles of the profession, placing the individual and family at the center of the care plan. Finally, they should demonstrate independent judgment and communication skills in relation to the clinical situations presented.
