Learning Outcomes
The integrated course provides the normative, deontological, methodological andphilosophical references of the nursing profession, to allow students to start the professionalizing path during the internship.The ethical foundations allows to know and understand the profession values.The regulation analysis provides a legal reference regarding the nature, functions, purpose, method of the nursing profession, as well as the limits of responsibility and professional practice, through the discussion of professional practice and training rules, relations with other professions and the importance of belonging to a professional Order. The methodological module also introduces the process of solving care problems and the specific professional language.The integrated course is supported by discussions and analysis of the profession historical development in relation to Italian and European micro- and macro-history and the professional values evolution and enhancement.

Teaching Methods
Socratic lesson, slide projection, films watching, significant text excerpt reading, discussion of emblematic cases, synoptic tables and summary documents compilation.
Additional Information
Modules are connected both for content and professional relevance. Assessment Methods
The exam consists of a single session for the whole integrated course of NURSING SCIENCES (disciplines: Clinical Nursing Methodology, General Nursing, Professional Ethics, Moral Philosophy). The test consists of a quiz test (multiple choice, with only one correct answer) for Moral Philosophy and an oral test for the disciplines of Clinical Nursing Methodology, General Nursing, Professional Ethics. Admission to the oral exam is subject to passing 60% of the Moral Philosophy quiz. (15 questions, 60% = 8 questions). The written test lasts 20 minutes. To pass the oral exam, students must demonstrate integrated and sufficient knowledge and competence of all module topics and the marks are given in thirtieths. The average between the grades of the oral exam, if sufficient, and the teaching certification of the Moral Philosophy test will determine the certification assessment. To achieve 30/30 cum laude, students must demonstrate excellent knowledge of all course topics. The oral exam mark determines the mark of the integrated course.
