Principles of Neonatal and Pediatric Physiology and an Overview of Major Developmental Disorders, with a Focus on Prevention Strategies.

Learning Outcomes
To provide elements of basic paediatric health culture. To frame the peculiarities of the educational process concerning the main chronic diseases in the paediatric area and their prevention.

Basic knowledge of the main educational and rehabilitative projects.

Assessment Methods
Written test with multiple choice questions. We will consider the test sufficient if the student answered correctly 60% of the questions.
Detailed Syllabus
Neonatal physiology; principles of auxology; neonatal and pediatric nutrition; developmental milestones; pediatric infectious diseases and vaccinations; major chronic childhood diseases, also addressing gender diversity; healthcare training through simulation
