Etiopathogenesis, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and diagnosis of selected disorders of the central and peripheral nervous systems.

Learning Outcomes
The module aims to promote knowledge and understanding of the essential aspects of the etiopathogenesis, clinical presentation, differential diagnosis, and treatment of selected disorders of the central and peripheral nervous systems and muscles. Particular attention will be given to indications for physiotherapy treatment.
Prerequisites
The student has to possess basic knowledge in the field of anatomy, physiology and biochemistry of the nervous system.

Expected Learning Outcomes
The student must show adequate knowledge and understanting (and ability to apply them) of the essential aspects of the disease dealt with in the course, and their implications in physical medicine/rehabilitation.
