We will discuss the main bacterial and viral infections affecting the oral cavity: we will therefore discuss the clinical presentation of infectious diseases involving the mouth and the surrounding area as well as the infections that can be transmitted through airborne or droplets and through contact with blood or saliva.

- Recognize the main clinical presentations of oral and perioral infections
