Course Contents
The course provides the legal tools needed to understand both the general legal framework governing enterprises and companies, and the specific legal framework of the tourism sector, with a focus on the Italian and European regulatory frameworks.

Learning Outcomes
The course on commercial and tourism law aims to:
- Provide the legal knowledge necessary to understand the main issues of interpretation and application relating to the conduct of business activities and their economic implications, whilst developing the ability to critically analyse current legislation.

- To provide the technical and legal tools to address issues in the tourism sector, developing knowledge of Italian and European tourism law, the ability to navigate current legislation, and to identify practical applications and critical issues in specific cases.

The course is worth 10 CFU, corresponding to 250 hours of study, of which 75 hours are face-to-face teaching (30 hours/4 CFU in the first part, 45 hours/6 CFU in the second) and the remainder is dedicated to independent study.
Prerequisites
Students who have passed the private law exam are eligible to take the test.

Assessment Methods
The final evaluation of Commercial Law and Tourism Law is calculated as the weighted average of the marks achieved in the examinations for the two modules (4 CFU for Commercial Law and 6 CFU for Tourism Law).
The exams for the two modules are independent of each other and may be taken in any order.
The Commercial Law examination is conducted orally, whilst the Tourism Law examination is written.

Expected Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students should have acquired:
- an institutional understanding of the subject and the legal concepts relating to the legal institutions examined;
- the ability to present the subject and legal concepts in an appropriate manner and using the correct technical terminology;
- the ability to navigate current legislation and identify areas of application and critical issues;
- an understanding of the significance of legal institutions and the relevant legal framework, and, consequently, the ability to contextualise and resolve problems based on the correct application of the relevant legal framework;
- mastery of the system of business and company discipline, that is, the ability to properly connect the various studied institutions with each other
