Course Contents
The course concerns the principles and rules governing the activity and organization of public administrations as well as the conceptual categories on the basis of which jurisprudence and doctrine interpret these principles and rules

Learning Outcomes
The course aims to provide students with an adequate understanding of the logic of the particular discipline relating to public administrations and of the main implications that derive from it, in light of the main issues arising from the administrative activities and organization
Prerequisites
It is necessary to have successfully taken the Constitutional Law Course
Teaching Methods
The course alternates frontal lectures by the teacher with in-depth seminars relating in particular to cases of jurisprudential application of the main institutions of administrative law. In the last part of the course an administrative procedure will be simulated, with the active participation of the students

Assessment Methods
For attending students, the test will consist of: a) in a written test involving multiple-choice questions, concerning a part of the program, the passing of which will enable the student not to take that part of the program to the oral exam; b) in an oral interview on the residual part of the program. The score will be awarded only after the oral interview. For non-attending students, the exam will consist only of the oral interview

The sources of administrative law; the administrative power and the legitimate interest; the administrative procedure; the administrative act; the public agreements; the administrative transparence; the contracts of public administrations; the main concepts about the organization of public administrations; regions, provinces and municipalities; the independent authorities; public entities and enterprises; public goods; work in public administrations; public finance
Expected Learning Outcomes
The expected result is an in-depth knowledge of the fundamental institutions of administrative law and the ability to understand the connections between them and to deduce adequate implications with respect to concrete cases
