CONTEXT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
- influence of demographic and economic evolution on health and public health;
- role of ethics, industry and citizens;
- influence of the evolution of technology.
ANALYSIS OF HEALTH NEEDS
- epidemiological indicators of health: incidence, prevalence, YPLL, YLD, DALY;
- research methodologies for the assessment of needs: the prevalence study;
- The Global Burden of Diseases;
- priorities and health trends in Italy.
RISK ANALYSIS
- association indicators in etiological epidemiology: RR, OR etc;
- attributable risk indicators: RA, QA and NNT;
- the main FdR for noncommunicable diseases and trends;
- the distal and proximal determinants of health;
