The study programme includes:
- the role of the Occupational Medicine in the Health and Safety system at the workplace
- a summary knowledge of european and national legislation
- a description of obligations in charge to the occupational physicians
- The analysis of the main risk factors currently present at workplace and the related adverse effects

Interactive lectures with presentations in MS-Power Point format. Use of educational websites. Discussion of examples of risk assessment documents and health surveillance protocols

the objective of the test is to verify the learning of the general principles of occupational medicine with particular attention to the role of the occupational physician in the prevention system; the knowledge of the main risk factors presents in the workplace and of the diseases related to them is also verified; the ability to understand how to manage the prevention of occupational diseases is also assessed
