At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
- know about vocabulary and syntax of scientific English
- Apply reading techniques to enable a fast decoding of the information contained in a variety of scientific papers
- Reading and interpreting a scientific paper

A preliminary test will be held to test students’ English level. Under-level students will be advised to attend the 20-hour preparatory course.

A supplementary didactic course will be provided to increase skills in the English language, in order to uniform students’ knowledge

The examination will consist of a multiple-choice written test.
The written test consists in: scientific papers reading and comprehension; vocabulary and grammar exercises
