By the end of the course, the learner will have acquired the knowledge
and related practical skills of applying useful tools to support care and
organizational models in high-intensity care settings.

The final examination is offered in a single session for the entire integrated course. An examination session will be constituted in which a multiple-choice, single-answer quiz test aimed at investigating the cognitive and knowledge application aspects of the teaching discipline will be given to the student

Organization: what it is, what it is for, constituent elements, tasks and
interactions.
Theories of organization: classical theory, the school of human relations,
the systemic model
Organizational models: change, the technical/executive model, the
professional model
Innovative care models: brief excursus on the functional model, small
teams, primary nursing, case management, advanced nursing practice,
hints of telemedicine and remote care.

Knowledge and understanding - Students, upon completion of the
course, are able to identify constituent elements of an organizational and
care model. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding - Students,
upon completion of the course, are able to critically analyze the
constituent parts of an organizational and care model. Ability to make
judgments - Students, upon completion of the course, are able to
determine which organizational and care model is appropriate for the
specific context.
