The module aims to allow the learning of the basic principles of physical and rehabilitation medicine and to provide knowledge on organizational methods, the provision of related services and on work in an interprofessional team. The aforementioned module also aims to clarify the evaluation and therapeutic procedures of some pathologies most frequently the cause of disability and object of rehabilitation intervention.

The student must possess the indispensable notions of anatomy, physics, physiology, pathophysiology and clinical semeiotics.

The exam consists of a written test with multiple choice questions on topics of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The student must demonstrate that he has assimilated the basic notions of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine learned during the lessons in an adequate manner to face the future work effectively and efficiently
